Meia Praia

Easily the biggest of Lagos´ beaches, Meia Praia curves around the edge of the bay east of Lagos, all the way from Lagos Marina to the river estuary at Alvor. It is a long open beach about 6km long, but with no natural shade or shelter. There are numerous beach cafés and restaurants overlooking the sea. There is a lifeguard service in summer as well as sunbed and shade rental.

Algarve Activities!

The Algarve has bucket loads of sunshine and golden sandy beaches (many with blue flags) and has a wealth of year round fun for families, sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.
