Casa Mia is a renovated Portuguese farmhouse, located 7km inland from Lagos in a quiet rural location. The living area consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen/dining room and living room with fireplace.
A door from the living room leads to the main terrace (covered) with barbecue and private pool. The pool area is surrounded by Avocado trees and grapevines on one side and enjoys spectacular views of the mountains of Monchique on the other.
The garden is maintained by the owners who live in an adjacent apartment (separated from the main house): a lovely couple with their three small dogs and a cat. The dogs are very friendly and well trained but will be put away if guests wish. The owners have created an original Algarve "horta" with fruit trees, Almond trees, Olive trees and a variety of citrus, as well as a herb garden. This is a wonderful and inexpensive holiday home for families with children. There is no passing traffic and the natural surroundings are ideal for children to explore or for guests who just want to relax and enjoy tranquility.
Beaches are within a few minutes drive or you can visit the charming town of Lagos with its historical centre and its wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment.
